Herb drying fun

In our quest to provide lots better options for folks wanting local produce, we decided to start drying the herbs we grow and packaging them for sale.  This gives consumers a local, chemical free alternative to buying the same thing at the grocery store for the same price.  We were so excited to start selling them at the Person County Farmer’s Market this weekend. Right now, we have rosemary and oregano, but as the summer progresses we plan on offering dried (as well as fresh) sage, basil, and a few surprises.  Keep coming to the market to see what new stuff pops up throughout the season
