Roselle madness

Our roselle hibiscus experiment has succeeded.  We have established a beautiful row of hibiscus plants which will last us another few weeks until the first frost.  In the meantime, we continue to harvest pints and pints of yummy roselle hibiscus.  We’ve discovered three main uses for roselle thus far.  First, it’s an amazing iced or hot tea.  Second, it’s a great snack with high amounts of vitamin C and other nutrients and goodies.  And finally, it actually makes a wonderful cut flower.

We’ll be at the Chapel Hill farmer’s market this weekend selling our roselle and other goodies.  We’re also selling the roselle to local restaurants and shops, so contact us if you would like an order and we can try to schedule a time to drop off to you!
