Here at the farm, we tend to combine holiday time off with long-ignored farm projects. Today we celebrated in the way we normally do (we’re suckers for good food and presents under a North Carolina-grown Fraser fir Christmas tree). Then we headed out to spend the rest of the day hanging up the rest of our high tensile wire on the deer fence to make it 7+ feet tall. Hopefully this will give us a deer-free growing season next year. A great Christmas present for our farm, the plants we grow, and our customers next year!
Here’s hoping all of our blog readers have a wonderful winter season, however you celebrate it.
