Hyacinths hanging in the wings

One of the most interesting parts of this late winter/early spring period has been observing the hyacinths.  They are one of our earliest flowering bulbs – just waiting for the time when temperatures start to get above 60 degrees every day.  As soon as that happens, we are going to have 100′ of multi-colored beauty… hoping that they hold out another week and a half when we plan on taking them to the Chapel Hill Farmer’s Market!
